The family of the Cosy sofa, designed by Francesco Rota in 2017, continues to expand. Its strength lies in its modularity, which makes it extremely adaptable to the environment and flexible, not only in terms of configurations but also in terms of use. And so, in its evolved form, it is also now designed to furnish open-air spaces, both in the residential and contract and hospitality worlds, with upholstery materials suitable for outdoor use. The distinguishing feature of the outdoor proposal is found in the painted stainless steel structures behind the backrest, which both supports and embellishes the seat.
The Cosy Outdoor upholstered module system can be mutually combined to create numberless configurations conceived to be continuously remodelled as desired. The seating modules can also be used individually as pouf elements.
System made up of:• seating modules S (L85 D85), M (L125 D85), L (L170 D85), L deep (L170 D125);
• curve seating module S (L155 D85) and M (L205 D85);
• back cushion S L60 and M L100;
• curved back cushion S L140 and M L200;
• armrest L70 and L110;
• additional single cushions to be used either as armrests or as backrests.
Back cushion with insert in non-deformable dual density polyurethane for greater comfort. Fixed cover in polyester bonded with water-repellent canvas that seals the cushion and makes it completely waterproof. Filled with recycled polyester fibre. The cushion’s special composition gives the padding natural softness and elasticity, making it durable and extremely comfortable. The cushions are completely upholstered with removable fabric covers.
The backs are available in two colour variants:
• powder coated matt white;
• powder coated matt lead black.
