MDF ITALIA’S MELODY IS THE PROTAGONIST OF SALONE SATELLITE ARENA

April 12th-17th: the most important event dedicated to the design world focusing on talented young designers is back again. This year, the event focuses on “New Materials, New Design”.
The 19th SaloneSatellite, the meeting place par excellence between young talented designers and talent-scout managers, accompanies again Salone Internazionale del Mobile. 

SaloneSatellite has always looked beyond and keeps on doing it also in this edition, with an exhibition about “New Materials, New Design”, that will be introducing the most innovative materials on the global scene. 
At Hall 15, in the SaloneSatellite arena, a big bookcase, developed with eight elements taken from Melody, will become a real “material inventory”, a collection point for innovative samples provided by six research centres on the most meaningful European materials and by international companies and designers involved in this field. 

The choice of creating an eye-catching exhibition wall, by matching various elements of MDF Italia’s Melody bookcase, in order to exhibit dynamically and originally the material samples and to compose a sort of “melody” of shapes and colours thus getting a very suggestive compositional effect, depends on the product aesthetics and on the irregular and downward trend of the single shelves, that create niches with different sizes and heights in which every material will find its place, moreover being enhanced.
