April 12th / September 12th 2016

From April 12th to September 12th, MDF Italia showroom in Milan, via della Chiusa corner via Crocefisso, is part of “The streets of the Golden Compass” itineraries, organised by ADI Lombardia to offer the visitor of the Design Week and XXI Triennale a direct experience of the historical and contemporary roles associated with the prestigious Award.

“The streets of the Golden Compass” are part of the events scheduled for XXI Triennale. The event consists of a range of itineraries that pass through the city of Milan and its surroundings, including plenty of places – designer studios, shops, galleries, museums, foundations and production facilities – where design appears. Heterogeneous and suggestive spaces, joined by the celebrated Golden Compass Award, to lead the XXI Triennale visitor to discover projects selected over 60 years of life of the Award. In this context, MDF Italia in its show-room dedicates a whole showcase to Yale sofas and armchairs, by Jean-Marie Massaud, the project  that in 2011 was awarded the Golden Compass for the vision of an upholstered piece of furniture inserted in a minimal framework.
