Array stories @ Cumini Interiors
With over 70 years of history, Cumini Interiors has developed deep expertise in the furniture and interior design industry. Its headquarters in Gemona del Friuli hosted a new stop of Array Stories, presenting the sofa to architects and industry professionals.
During the evening, speakers included Marco Cassina, Head of Marketing & Communication at MDF Italia, Franco Cassina, Sales Director for Europe at MDF Italia, and Gianni Rosa, CEO of Activa, an engineering firm specialising in the design, prototyping, and industrialisation of products.
The meeting provided an opportunity to delve deeper into the Array project, retracing the brief assigned to the Snøhetta studio, the technological and innovative aspects, and the various possibilities for applying the system. A key focus of the presentation was the importance of collaboration between designers, the company, and technical partners: in Array, creative and aesthetic components merge with engineering ones, resulting in a product that combines modularity, comfort, and sustainability.
