A whole other world as against the typical Moscow suburb, whose urban layout is a kind of grid where houses are separated by high fences. Moreover the building style is classic, and not typical of the region. That is why Alexey Nikolashin and Ekaterina Emelyanova from SL* Project architecture studio planned and built up an unusual villa, “not formatted”, as they define it. The building actually catches the attention: total white and with a neat shape, it looks like a flying saucer, naturally laying in the surrounding garden.

A special place, that really stands out as against thesuburban context it is inserted in.

MDF Italia proposed original and functional furnishing solutions for this house, whose contemporary style is quite similar to the Italian brand’s one. SL* Project architecture studio was fascinated by MDF Italia design furniture: in particular they focused on the Flow Chairs and the Tense table, to decorate the bright dining/meeting room that, thanks to the very huge windows, seems to encroach on the surrounding nature. The light penetrates from the ceiling, emphasising the purity of the chairs’ simple and sophisticated lines, as well as the table’s solid elegance.
