A 11,000 square-feet house located on Taipa Island in the Southern side of Macau. Inside, the architect transformed the space into a more practical and suitable home for the family to settle in, also thanks to MDF Italia’s furnishing solutions.
A practical and suggestive interior design.
A full level for a master ensuite bedroom, with an open roof top sitting area as a sky garden with a spectacular sea view, a spacious walk-in closet, and stereo room. The designer purposely designed a study room in the basement, for which the wall was demolished, creating an artistic staircase to link up the split garden, thus, allowing the sunlight to go into the reading room.
The designer used geometry form as main design concept. The rectangular shape exterior in contrast with the curved lines used in interior area, creates an energetic movement throughout the entire house. The whole house uses natural materials, veneer and marble for the walls and floor. Micheal Liu relied upon MDF Italia for the interior design of the house.
The Italian brand with its furnishing ideas played a key role. Starting from the Rock table that in the outdoor area, with its concrete basement, stands out for its originality, solidity and design. Also Jean Marie Massaud’s Flow chair family stands out in this airy and bright house: in the garden area you can find the Flow Stools, while in the night area you can sit down on padded Flow Slim chairs.
