From the editorial approach of Ark Journal and the expert eye of stylist Pernille Vest takes shape a special project, featuring some of MDF Italia’s most iconic collections.

A modern apartment with classic details and neutral tones provides the setting for this original story, enhancing the purity of forms and the minimal design of the products, capable of adapting to different environments with versatility and natural ease.

In the living area, the Array sofa introduces rigour and balance, while the irregular structure of the Random bookcase behind it adds a dynamic accent, creating a visual dialogue between order and spontaneity. If light and neutral colours dominate this scene, brighter and more contrasting tones define the reading area, where the burgundy finish of Random becomes the focal point of the space, introducing depth and character. The generous shapes of the Peggy armchair combine with the essential design of the Tense Low Table and the elegance of the leather upholstery of the Neil Leather armchair, creating a refined narrative that unites comfort and formal precision.

The warm wood finishes are instead the protagonists of the study area: the scenic presence of Random Wood dialogues with the sculptural lines of the NVL Table, defining a skilful balance between material and colour. Next to the table, the Press chair, with its light and natural silhouette, completes the composition by introducing a sense of harmony and visual continuity. In this intimate space, the combination of surfaces, textures, and colours conveys an atmosphere that is both contemplative and serene, where design becomes the silent interpreter of balance and restraint.
