To develop this new wing of the house, the architects decided to play on the contrast of old and new, to realise an open and light-filled extension outback. A full-length skylight on the north edge of the flat brings in plenty of light, which is diffused by the exposed rafters, changing so much throughout the day and highlighted by the varying depths of the rafters.

In this 155 square meter wing, MDF Italia’s furnishing solutions were harmoniously inserted, thus infusing Italian style into the spaces.

What strikes most about this cottage known as Henry Street House is the rear section turned by Eugene Cheah Architecture into a minimalistic modern extension.

In the living area, Jean Marie Massaud’s Rock Table stands out: with its concrete stand and wood fibre circular top, it is fit for the dining room as well as for outdoor spaces.

Design and functionality perfectly merge in this table featuring contemporary shapes, as well as in the Flow Chairs around it, whose sinuous lines ensure style and comfort. Also, in this case, MDF Italia’s creations confirm their versatility and cosmopolitan nature, adapting to any living context and lifestyle.
