The Cosy sofa collection, designed by Francesco Rota in 2017, is defined by its exceptional flexibility and modularity, naturally adapting to a variety of settings and offering numerous configuration and usage possibilities. The distinctive feature of the outdoor version lies in the painted stainless steel structures positioned at the back of the backrest, which serve both a structural and decorative function. With its modern and elegant design, it is perfect for furnishing domestic and contract spaces, including the hospitality sector.
Frame
Load-bearing seat structure and back frame in epoxy powder-coated stainless steel.
The seat frame has elastic straps specific for outdoor use.
Padding in differentiated density polyurethane foam and fixed covers in polyester bonded with water-repellent canvas that seals the cushion and makes it completely waterproof.
Cushions
Back cushion with insert in non-deformable dual density polyurethane for greater comfort. Fixed cover in polyester bonded with water-repellent canvas that seals the cushion and makes it completely waterproof. Filled with recycled polyester fibre. The cushion’s special composition gives the padding natural softness and elasticity, making it durable and extremely comfortable.
Cover
Outdoor fabric, removable cover.
Accessories
Protective rain cover in light grey colour, specifically for outdoor products, waterproof, made of 100% polyester, outside with acrylic coating, inside with acrylic resin coating. Its characteristics are emphasised by its fully fungicidal Teflon finish.
Each rain cover comes with a closable slip cover, so that it can be folded and kept correctly when not in use.

Francesco Rota is a Milanese designer. After graduating in industrial design, he founded his studio through which he embarked on international projects with renowned companies. The prestigious awards he received, including three Honorable Mentions for the Compasso d’Oro, testify to the excellence of his work. Since 2004, he has been professor at Istituto Europeo di Design.
