Minima is the iconic shelving system designed by Bruno Fattorini, built around three key elements: shelf, frame, and cabinet. Defined by a slim aluminium profile just 15 mm thick, it stands out for its formal rigour and visual lightness, which shape its identity. The modular structure allows for the creation of extensive compositions, even at potentially infinite lengths, integrating open elements and storage modules to meet different organisational needs.
Designed to blend naturally into contemporary interiors, Minima adapts effortlessly to the various functions of the home — from living areas to the study and the sleeping area — and engages with different design languages thanks to its essential, timeless aesthetic.

"For MDF Italia, I designed products capable of making interiors more livable and welcoming. A further confirmation that the process of subtraction employed by the company has made the collections unique and always relevant."
Founder of MDF Italia, Bruno Fattorini led the company from 1992 to 2013, when it was finally acquired by the Cassina family holding. In addition to redefining the company's strategy based on commercial and product policies, he guided the cultural and aesthetic reflection, focusing on specific lifestyles characterised by an evolution of minimalism and simplicity. The respect for the past and the rigour of forms are reflected in the MDF Italia collection he conceived, which includes the iconic Minima bookshelf, Honorable Mention at the Compasso d'Oro.
