The Neil seating collection, designed by Jean Marie Massaud, is a continuously evolving project known for its simplicity, versatility, and meticulous design. The steel wire structure creates a lightweight, minimalist silhouette, while the coverings in leather, rope, or fabric, combined with a wide range of colours, add personality to the seat, allowing it to adapt to various settings - indoor and outdoor, residential and contract.
Design and craftsmanship come together in a collection able to meet diverse living needs: Neil Leather, elegant and refined, fits perfectly into sophisticated and contemporary spaces, Neil Textile offers a more informal solution, enriched by a broad range of fabrics that enhance its versatility, while Neil Twist is the ideal option for outdoor use. The Neil collection, which includes chairs and stools, embraces a sustainable philosophy: crafted from high-quality materials and optimised production processes, the pieces minimise waste, ensure longevity, and at the end of their lifecycle, can be easily disassembled and recycled.
Frame
Load-bearing frame in matt epoxy powder-coated steel rod or with a glossy galvanic finish.
Saddle-hide shell
Upholstery in thick full grain saddle-hide, stretched on the frame.
Seams in heavy duty thread, dyed edges, and pressed areas on the leather surface form raised decorations. Non-removable cover.
Handcrafted and 100% made in Italy.
Fabric shell
The fabric upholstery is coupled and stretched on the frame.
Riveted seams and colour matching aesthetic stitching on the seat and back. Removable cover.
Handcrafted and 100% made in Italy.
Rope shell
Load-bearing seating structure made of steel, woven with high-tenacity polyester cord, solution-dyed, guaranteeing high resistance to atmospheric agents, light, and abrasions, with stretch resistance.
