Inspired by the geometric shape of an arch, Archie is a chair featuring slender, elegant legs that extend upwards to embrace the curved backrest in a single, seamless line. The visible joints between the structure’s planes underscore a meticulous process of refinement, balancing visual lightness, structural integrity, and comfort.
“Archie makes a sculptural statement, where the back and arm merge into a single, fluid form,” say George Yabu and Glenn Pushelberg. With Archie, the studio pushes MDF Italia’s legacy of technical innovation by creating a sleek, minimalist structure that blends the company’s know-how with the studio’s inventive spirit. Archie is removable and designed to be fully disassembled.
Seat and backrest
- The seat is made of plywood sourced from sustainably managed forests, fitted with elastic webbing and upholstered with PET fibre and a differentiated-density polyurethane insert.
- The backrest is made of co-moulded thermoplastic material and polyurethane.

Anilina leather naturally shows differences in finish and color, visual irregularities, marks, shades and color unevenness, peculiarities of a natural material of the highest quality and synonymous of its value and uniqueness. Due to its extreme naturalness, it is also more delicate and sensitive than more treated leathers: the contact with liquids, with different materials and colors, as well as the direct exposure to the sunlight and heat sources could indelibly alter the color, while metal or sharp parts may affect the surface.
For daily cleaning, simply dust with a soft, dry cloth. For a more thorough cleaning, it is expressly recommended to use specific products for leather, avoiding the use of water, soap and any aggressive detergents.Varianti colore (7)

Leather is natural and its particular nature is underscored by wrinkles and scars that characterise the quality and origin. Leathers from the best breeders are carefully selected and only a small percentage are considered for purchase. The natural characteristics of leather do not allow us to guarantee the perfect correspondence between sample colours and the colours of available leathers.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE Nubuck and suede should be brushed periodically and cleaned with a vacuum cleaner. Spilt liquids should be soaked up immediately with a clean light-coloured cloth. A brush with soft bristles will help to restore the Standard l appearance of suede leather.Avoid exposure to direct sunlight.
Avoid exposure to direct heat sources.
Do not use aggressive cleaning products.
Avoid contact between light and dark colours and also between different types of materials.
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth.
