NVL table, by Jean Nouvel Design, has been selected by Elle Decor Italia to compete for the EDIDA 2021 (Elle Deco International Design Awards) in the Furniture category.

The prestigious award, which is given annually by the 25 chief editors of Elle Decor's worldwide network, recognizes excellence in the world of interior design in 14 categories.

Jean Nouvel has interpreted the table for MDF Italia by exalting the contemporary sense of the material. 
This is how NVL Table was born, a mono-material object in which architecture is the protagonist.

Matt or glossy lacquered, and in the materic variants of stone or black Ebano and Carrara reconstructed marble, it is characterized by a game of contrasts between full and empty, solidity and lightness. The top seems to float above the base formed by two sculptural elements.
