On June 16th to 25th, at Fondazione Stelline Milan, IDFM Il Foglio del Mobile celebrates its first decade with a show that combines art and design.
“A decade of evolution in design” exhibition crowns the first stage of the short but intense path of the magazine founded by Paolo Bleve in 2007. Year after year, the magazine has become a landmark for furnishing companies and insiders. To tell the story of Il Foglio del Mobile, involving in this tale the companies that shared their path with the magazine, Paolo Bleve, Editor in Chief, opted for contemporary art.
Thanks to the prestigious collaboration with Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera, the design world meets art: 27 young and talented artists – coordinated by Professor Andrea del Guercio – highlighted through 11 paintings the key stages of the magazine’s history, also interpreting iconic pieces of furniture of renowned furnishing brands. On this occasion MDF Italia asked to interpret a best seller, Jean-Marie Massaud’s Flow slim chair bythat expresses the international success and acknowledgement of MDF Italia collection.
