BOGGI MILANO AND MDF ITALIA TOGETHER FOR MILAN DESIGN WEEK 2018

16-04-2018

The Salone del Mobile is one of the high points of Milan's calendar, an event that places the city at the centre of global design.

With over 2,000 exhibitors, the Show provides a comprehensive and exciting portrait of the world of furniture and interiors. In addition to the Salone at the Rho Fiera Milano district, the whole city comes alive with a series of events - 1,151 this year - in a collective festival known as "Fuorisalone." Italian menswear brand Boggi Milano is celebrating Design Week by means of an installation in the windows of its most important boutique, the flagship store in Piazza San Babila, Milan, during the Salone from 17 to 22 April.

The display features some of the most iconic products by MDF Italia.

The Flow Slim chair designed by Jean Marie Massaud is featured in a version in which the structural shell is covered by an orange and brown upholstery pattern. The Fuji ottoman is a classic of minimalist design by Francesco Rota, with a profile that recalls the conical shape of the like-named mountain in Japan. The orange cover chosen for this piece gives it great versatility, making it ideal for any context.

The bookcase Minima 3.0 by Metrica, design by Bruno Fattorini, is one of the best-sellers in the MDF Italia collection. Its light, elemental, linear shapes are of unmistakable character, and for this occasion the white structure is personalized with orange open-fronted containers.

The installation expresses the close affinity between Boggi Milano, a company that blends style and high-quality fabrics to create garments that enhance the male physique, and MDF Italia, which combines contemporary design and materials technology to transform domestic and office interiors worldwide.
