Compasso d'Oro in 2011, the Yale collection by Jean Marie Massaud was awarded for its innovative vision of an upholstered piece combined with a minimalist structure. Part of a family which also includes a bed and a coffee table, sofas and armchairs are characterised by synthesis and lightness, achieved through a continuous subtraction of the material that does not affect comfort, ensured by a sophisticated and enveloping cushions.

Armchair and sofas with a strong identity, featuring generous cushioning for exceptional comfort and functionality.

Complementing the collection, low tables are available in rectangular and square shapes.

Yale X

Yale X with low backrest.

Yale X with high backrest.

Padding in differentiated-density polyurethane foam, covered with polyester wadding and Rollo Fill® (polyester microspheres). This combination ensures softness, elasticity, and long-lasting comfort.

Structure in extruded aluminium with elastic straps, legs in die-cast aluminium.

Yale Bed

Headboard with a supporting structure in ø20 mm tubular aluminium profile, covered in non-deformable differentiated-density polyurethane for superior comfort.

Jean Marie Massaud’s work is characterised by synthesis, reduction and lightness. His interests range from furniture to industrial products and accessories. In 2000 he opened Studio Massaud and expanded his activity to the fields of architecture and development strategy. With his creations he aims to shape the human being and the surrounding environment. Rock Table and Flow seating family are two of the iconic and best-selling collections that the French designer has created for MDF Italia.
